Spartans Never Die

finaly done, took me a little over 3 weeks. Its a Spartan helmet modeled from scratch using zbrush. Background and render was done in 3Dmax and then final composition was done in photoshop CS5.

this is only my 2nd finished model so it has been a lot of work for me to get this results, lots of trile and error.

there are some things that were a HUGE help during my work. first we have Mike Jensens [link] amazing video torturial. its called Eat3D - ZBrush Hard Surface Techniques. he is also a very talanted 3D artist and I recomend taking a look at his DA page for some insperation.

and then we have Tahyon [link] who helped me ALOT with resourses and advise for rendering in 3Dmax. i must say he is one of the frendliest and helpfull people I got to know here on DA.

im very greatfull to both of them.
